In which Maura has Jane on her knees.

They’re barely inside the house before Jane feels Maura’s hands on her shoulders. She’s expecting Maura to pull her in for a kiss, but instead she finds that Maura keeps pushing, and, caught off her guard and confused, she falls to her knees. 

“I didn’t realize you had plans for tonight,” Jane says, a little humiliated but mostly wanting to get back up on her feet and get her hands on her girlfriend. Maura seems to enjoy her vantage point because she bites her lip and takes it all in before she answers, “Don’t talk. There are better things for your mouth to be doing right now.”
